OVERLAND TOURS
These are tours where people drive almost every day from one destination to another. Compared to active tours, such as horse riding, biking or hiking you will cover large distances which, consequently, provides you with the opportunity to see and experience many different landscapes, cultures and natural attractions. Throughout the tour, except for one night which you will spend with a local family, you will sleep either in tourist ger camps if traveling along conventional routes, or in tents, if travelling to more remote and less visited parts of the country.
The first option obviously provides you with the relative comfort of a tourist ger camp and the other, allows you to enjoy more remote and stunning locations. Camping, sleeping in tents, having your own cook has a unique charm, and being away from modernity, though sometimes tough, brings many rewards.
