Tour of Western and Northern Mongolia
This was my second tour with Mongolia Trekking and covered Western Mongolia for 2 weeks and Northern Mongolia for 4 weeks. Excellent tour which covered landscape, visit to Nomad families, throat singing demonstration, camel herding, and a little hiking. The tour demonstrated the big difference between western and northern Mongolia.Northern Mongolia with its large lake, and evergreen woods resembled the Sierras of California. I think m next visit will be to the south to see the Gobi desert. Great drivers and guides and excellent camping meals were provided by the tour group chefs.

Super helpful - highly recommended!
Batbayar and his colleague were super helpful. I wanted to hike on Mt Bogd Khan but travelling solo made a tour very expensive. Instead Batbayar arranged a car and driver for me and gave me lots of tips, maps, GPS tracks and advice so that I could visit and hike on my own. The service was exceptional and their English excellent. I would highly recommend them whether you are looking to join a tour or for some help and advice to make a trip independently.

I was recently on business trip to Ulaanbaatar and had a weekend to explore the outlying countryside around the city. Through a friend I contacted Mongolia Trekking and after a discussion with Batbayar, he suggested a couple of day trips. One to the Hustain National park followed by the Baga Khentiy Mountain Bike Day tour.
My guide for the day to the national park was Otgo, who was very knowledgeable and her English was very good. We traveled to the visitors centre where learnt about the wild life, flora and fauna, then traveled into the heart of the National park. We decided to go for a hike for around an hour, off the trail roads, where we caught glimpses of the wild Prezewalski horses, red deer, marmot, golden eagles. It was a hot day so lots of water and sturdy shoes were a must. You may need a good camera with some kind of telescopic lens to shoot great pictures of the wildlife.

Wonderful treks and stay with farming family
The highlight of my 2 short trips (I was on a business trip) was going up into the hills beyond Terelj National Park with my wonderful guide Nara. I was able to learn so much about the traditional way of life in a short time when staying with a very hospitable farming family. And walking around the hills or steppes near the farm or gur was an awe inspiring experience, The trip up Mt Bogd Khan on a beautiful clear day was also very memorable. Thanks so much Nara and Batbayar! If I come again to Mongolia I would definitely choose Mongolia Trekking to organise another expedition.

One day tour in Terelj
Mongolia Trekking helped us to organize a one-day tour to Terejl National Park. We have been positevely impressed by the professionalism of Batbayar. He helped us to choose the tour we wanted to do by taking into consideration the material we do or do not had.
Temujin, our guide, is also to recommanded. In addition to being very friendly and more than dedicated to the travellers, he knows well the history, culture and society of Mongolia. There is a lot to learn on Mongolia with him and he seems allways happy to share his knowledge with foreigners.

I headed off for a mountain bike ride with my guide Nara. As the tour notes stated we started off at the Chinggis Khan statue and headed into the valleys. Within 8km we were in remote areas surrounded only by sheep, goats, yaks cattle, the odd herdsman, and passing by a few nomadic gers. We had a picnic lunch near a small spring where young cattle were taking a drink, before setting off on a more gentle ride through the valley floor. The guides carried plenty of water for us which was lucky as on a 48km ride we needed some hydration.
The organisation was excellent I was picked up and dropped off at the hotel, the guides knowledgeable, mountain bike was good quality and the hospitality great. Would certainly use Batbayar and the company again.
