Perfect tour!
How could we describe in a few sentences the amazing experience we had at Little Gobi.
We spend 3 days with a very welcoming nomadic family, sleeping in their beautiful ger, in the middle of an undescribable landscape.
360• of an amazing view, just us, animals and nature.
The camels riding accross sand dunes had been one of the most unforgettable memories (or maybe it was the delicious homemade meals we ate all along our stay).
Our perfect guide, Nara, was very thoughtful and he explained us a lot about nomadic way of life.
Thank you very much for this incredible traditionnal Mongolian experience !

Family Weekend Trip to Mongolia
Our family had an amazing trip to Mongolia over a 4 day period....we wish it had been longer. For the children, it was an experience they will never have again. Sighting Przewalski horses, sleeping in Ger's, driving over gorgeous countryside, being hosted by a Mongolian family, getting involved in their daily routines, herding livestock, patting newborn calves eating traditional food and lots more....but best of all was being able to ride on wild Mongolian horses...with a little help from the host family!!! The team at Mongolia Trekking really looked after us from the time of booking the tour, right through to delivering us to the airport for our departure home. The guide and driver were so keen to make sure the children had the most wonderful experience...which in turn meant the adults did as well. Thank you to all the team.

Excellent 3-day tour of Mongolia
We recently completed a 3-day tour with Mongolia Trekking. The experience was perfect from start to finish. I corresponded with Batbayar via email to book the tour and arrange payment. Emails were returned promptly and with excellent English. Batbayar suggested a tour based on our interests and also assisted with arranging pick-up from the bus station (for a small fee) as well as receipt of our onward train tickets - this flexibility was much appreciated.
Our guide, Byamba, spoke English as if it were his native language and patiently answered all of our questions, and explained Mongolian history to us. He was also a really cool guy! We drove vast distances over the 3 days, visiting temples, the former Uighur capital, Kharkhorin, the Prezewalski horses at Khustai National Park and many other sights. The highlight was the authentic stay (for 2 nights) with a real Mongolian nomadic family. Driving through the vast wilderness to get to the family added to the authenticity of the experience. During the entire tour, we were driven in a clean and spacious 4x4 SUV.
As for the stay with nomadic family, we were the only guests staying with the family at the time, and were able to observe their daily life, including the herding of hundreds of sheep, goats, etc. The ger/yurts were very comfortable, with clean and warm bedding (it got very cold at night!) and a bedside lamp. The toilets were clean and functional. Although the family did not speak English, our guide did a fantastic job of bridging the gap. The food was plentiful and tasty.
Overall, Mongolia Trekking (including Batbayar and Mr. Uugaa) and our guide (Byamba) as well as our nomadic family hosts went out of their way to make our stay in Mongolia a very enjoyable one. I picked this company based on a lot of research and Tripadvisor reviews. This tour, as organised by Mongolia Trekking, far surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend this company.

The Magnificent Mongolia Wilderness with Bat
N.Mongolia MBT + KK Naadam with Khustai National Park by Mongolia Trekking 28/06/18 to 12/07/18
Mongolia... is known as the land of Blue Sky and is always synonymous with the ancient empire of Chinggis Khaan and wild horses. So when I told a group of friends that I would like to cycle in Mongolia, most of my friends agreed that Mongolia would be somewhat different from any other country in Asia. A romantic notion of the life of nomadic people moving their 'ger' from one area to another, and to be able to witness wild horses, yaks, sheep, goats in the wilderness would be a magnificent and long lasting memorable experience.
So, our adventure began with contacting Bat from Mongolia Trekking (recommended by Mr Van from Backroads Vietnam) early last year. After a long exchange of emails with Bat, we finally arrived at an itinerary to suit our needs. I must say, Bat had so much patience in trying to come up with the right itinerary for us because we also wanted to be there for the 2018 Naadam Festival.
Tim... our guide was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and took us to Bayangol Hotel. He was the guide that stayed with us from the time we arrived on June 28 until we left Mongolia on July 12. He was a very sweet and knowledgeable person who is very proud of his home country.
After the introduction of Ulaanbaatar or Ulan Bator (capital city of Mongolia) we visited monasteries and museums on our first and second day. We met Bat in the evening of our first night for dinner who warmly welcomed our group and explained comprehensively what we expected during our 8D cycling in the wilderness. He readily answered any questions we were not sure about. The night went smoothly and everyone was happy to start our adventure the following day.
First we travelled from Ulaanbaatar to Erdenet in the north with the coal fueled Soviet era train. The train was comfortable for our overnight journey. There were four single bunks to a cabin and there was sufficient space for our overnight bags.
When we arrived at Erdenet, Bat and his team of three drivers, two cooks, 2 guides and a mechanic were already there waiting for us. We were ushered to the buses and our Mongolia cycle adventure began...
Words can not describe the beauty of Mongolia's wilderness. It was so green, pristine, and blue sky most of the time we cycled. Horses, cows, sheep, goats, yaks were so peacefully and contentedly munching green grass in beautiful pastures while the weather was right for them before winter set in. In some areas the scenery changed as if we were somewhere else because of green tall pine trees and log cabins instead of 'ger'. It was just so incredible.
We were so spoiled by Bat's team i.e. cooks. They prepared a variety of healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners for us. They set up tables for us to have our lunch in the best wilderness ... clean open air ... wild flowers covered the ground... it was the best experience I've ever had.
The cycling was a bit of a challenge for me... and also for some of our friends but we didn't mind that because we had more time to enjoy the scenery around us.
On behalf of our group of 11 from Western Australia, I would like to thank Bat and his team who excelled in all areas, and exceeded our expectations.
Thank you Bat, Tim, Nara, Munhk, Boga, and others for providing us with everything we needed during our tour especially in providing for our friends who are vegan, vegetarian, celiacs. You are just amazing.
Our visit to your country is the most memorable one for me thanks to your professionalism, your friendliness and organisational skills, Bat.
I have no hesitation in recommending Mongolia Trekking to those who wish to visit Mongolia by Trekking, Horse Riding, Cycling, etc.
Please visit Mongolia Trekking website if you want to see the Magnificent Mongolia Pristine Wilderness.
Thank you again Bat for the most memorable cycling tour with you and your team. I will surely cherish the experience for a long time to come.
Cheers

I took part in an amazing 8 days bike trek across this wonderful country called Mongolia.
What can I say, but absolutely the most amazing trip I have ever taken part in. From the wonderful guides from Mongolia Trekking to the absolutely fantastic scenery. The wonderful guides made sure that everyone's needs were looked after, from dietary requirements to having our bikes serviced and cleaned every evening. Nothing was to much trouble. Every day was an adventure and not knowing a great deal about Mongolia it was wonderful to sit and listen to the guides tell their stories. Mongolian people are very proud and loved telling us about their history. I came away from this wonderful holiday with fantastic memories that will stay with me for ever.

Amazing!!
I’ve just come back from Mongolia where myself and 7 friends(all girls) completed a 6 day mountain bike tour with Bat and his team from Mongolia trekking and it was wonderful. The landscape, the people, Bat and his team made it a once in a lifetime experience. The riding was a bit challenging at times but so worth it. I cannot put into words how well the tour was run. Highly recommend Bat and his team. Loved every second of it.
Thank you Mongolia Trekking

Epic Day Riding the Steppe with Samba!
We booked easily online and the info was all accurate and helpful. Samba met us with a sign right at the train. Got us a good breakfast then he and the friendly driver took us out to the Genghis Khan Monument. Not only did they tune in to our comfort, prep, safety and skills; Samba is an amazing Ambassador for his country; full of knowledge as an educator, too!
The excursion plan has a nice balance of sharing the area, history and culture without feeling rushed or that you are missing out on the ride aspect of the adventure. What an adventure we had! We were unprepared for the spectacular beauty or the thrilling interactions with herds on the steppe. Samba went above and beyond in all things and made sure that the ride he planned fit us and our travel profile, such a keen sense for that. He fine tuned my bike seat, took pics, shared great stories, even cleaned out my shoes after a bit of a mud foot bath (no extra charge!) was the cost of my one shortcut.
What stood out was how capable Samba was at ensuring that every aspect of our visit turned out well, even helping us plan the following day with his local insights. The driver tailed us on the ride, managed lunch, water, gear then together they dropped us at the door of our (out of the way) Airbnb which we truly appreciated.
You cannot go wrong with this quality outfitter and Samba, our new friend in Mongolia!
